Artists Network
www.criticalnetwork.co.uk
A continuously updated database of information on artists practice, groups, organisations, forthcoming events, interventions, exhibitions, publications, call for submissions, etc.
This will have a specific focus on activity in the UK and Ireland, concentrating on critical and contextual art, events and discussion.
There is an oppourtunity to subscribe to receive weekly emails, however I have found that it doesn't seem to work very well, so it's probably best just to check it every so often.

Showcase for Work in Film and Video
So here's a website I found on my web travels the other day.
"Founded by Tank magazine in 2003, the online gallery tank.tv is an inspirational showcase for innovative work in film and video. Dedicated to exhibiting and promoting emerging and established international artists"
It has some interesting pass the time stuff on it, so just subscribe-it's free!

The Journey is the Destination
Currently I am exploring the idea of adventure and the varying meanings it takes on for different individuals. For me, something quite mad like cycling up the Andes, challenging myself in both physical and mental ways, is an adventure. Whereas for someone else, they may feel the same sense of adventure going on a night out and getting the banter, likely doing some pretty mad things in their own right. If you could comment and give an idea of what you believe to be your own sense of adventure that would be ace.
